Why donating to Orphfund is the best way to help poverty.

Orphfund was established in 2006 through a frustration with the larger NGOs' inability to work efficiently with their funds. Million dollar budgets being spent on luxury offices, first class flights, hotel/restaurant bills, brand new 4x4 landcruisers and over paid staff are all reasons why Orphfund began. Our aim is to offer some faith back into people giving and guarantee that we will make the most effective use of any funds we receive.

Why give $10 when only $1 will actually reach and help a child? We want to empower people to give and want them to know that their donation will work in fighting poverty and will make positive change for children around the world.

Our one goal is to reach out to as many children as we can and offer them hope for the future. Your donation allows Orphfund to achieve our dreams.

- Orphfund operates a 100% donor promise. Being entirely volunteer based means that everything you donate is effectively handed straight to a child in need.

- Each project we run is funded on a shoe-string budget. This ensures no wastage with each and every $ we spend.

- We help the neediest children. We have a thorough registration process that guarantees the children in the most distressing situations benefit from our work.

- Administration fees are kept at a minimum. Any costs we cannot avoid are covered by the UK Gift Aid scheme.

- We work in areas other organisations do not, by reaching the remote villages we help children who have otherwise been overlooked.
