At Orphfund, we pride ourselves on being the most effective charity you can find. A donation to us is as direct a way of helping children in poverty as you can find. We want to empower people to give and want them to know that their donation will work in fighting poverty and make change for children around the world.

Here are some examples of what we spend our funds on. You can visit our store to purchase similar items. 

30 cents can feed a child a warm nutritious meal.

$2 can test a child for HIV and provide vaccinations against major childhood illnesses.

$5 buys a chicken for our village farm.

$10 buys books, uniform pens and pencils so one of our orphans can go to school.

$20 buys a mattress giving a street child their first experience of sleeping in comfort.

$40 is enough to help a child away from life on the streets, providing bedding, clothing and toiletries.

$70 buys a bunk bed.

$400 can buy 100 orphans a school uniform.

$500 runs a centre for 30 pre-school orphans for one month.

$1200 can help us plant 10 acres of rice allowing our centres to produce their own food.

$2000 can help us install a water pump.

$4000 will help us build a traditional home that will help give 8-10 orphans a new home.

$5000 is enough for us to buy and ship a minibus that we run as a taxi service, which generates an essential local income.

$25000 can build a primary school for 150 children.
