Orphfund Haiti Appeal

With the overwhelming news of the earthquake disaster in Haiti Orphfund has initiated a campaign to raise funds for some of the children who have been affected.We would like to make it clear that we do not specialize in Emergency Aid but we do specialise in helping rebuild communities following horrific events such as this. Any funds received will be used to build an orphanage in the near future, realistically this will be in 12 months after the emergency teams have done their work. Before the earthquake Orphfund had been in contact with 2 communities and had been planning a project there to help vulnerable children which of course now is in much greater need. We are not aiming to draw funds away from the necessary and essential work that the large NGO's are doing at this time, but we want to offer people the chance to know that if they want to help rebuild Haiti that they can do so through Orphfund and know that their donations wont be wasted. We can assure you that any money pledged between now and until the end of January will be used in this project and can also guarantee 100% of the donation will be used in helping the victims of the disaster.
