Good businesses give! Good schools inspire!     How about building a new relationship with OrphFund?

HOw can my school help?

enroll into 1day

The first step your school could take in helping our work is to enroll into our 1Day program. On Universal Children's Day (November 20th) we celebrate by encouraging schools to run a gold coin donation event, with 100% of funds being spent on educational programs around the world. This project is designed to inspire pupils to show how easy it is to make change in the world. Each year we provide feedback on the projects helped by the previous years fundraising to illustrate the changes we've been able to make. (See our 1Day page for in depth information on this.)

Run a fundraiser

We're always raising funds for new projects and need help. A fundraising day at your school anytime of the year could help us with our latest needs. By baking cupcakes, having a pyjama day, selling ice cream etc you could help set up things such as chicken farms, buy goats or build a shower block. We can help with fundraising brochures and items for your event.

volunteer at our markets

We've a number of students helping raise vital funds at our market stalls. We'll provide you with training and help make sure you know all about OrphFund so you are able to either be a sales person on our shop, or collect cash donations on the door.

school fetes and fairs

If your school has an annual fete then we'd love to be part of it! We'd bring along our stall of items to raise funds for our projects.

work experience

There is always something going on at OrphFund where we would be grateful to have students come along and help us with all manner of work. It would be great insight into the world of an NGO for those interested in this.

how can my business help?

Sponsor a child

A simple way to support is by reaching out to one of our children via our sponsorship program. We can send you a unique 'company branded' thank you to use for promotional material for your support.

Products helping the kids

We have businesses helping our work who donate a percentage of a product sale to our cause. Not only is it a good thing to do, but it can shed some good light on your company! We can make your contribution unique, for example, sales from your T-shirts might help fund uniforms for our children, your bakery might help us set up a bread oven, or your Cafe help fund a feeding program.

We're keen to hear ideas so please don't hesitate to get in touch!

Collection tins

Cafes, restaurants, bars, shops are all great places to pop one of our collection tins. Once they are there its easy fundraising and over time the little pot grows! Those coins add up!

Donating items/services

Donating items and services to help orphfund is a great way of helping us do what we do. With no funds spent on administrative costs you could help by providing printing services, internet connections, working computers, phones, cameras, some of which can be sent on directly to our projects.

Alternatively items can be donated to support our auction events, or be used to generate funds via online sales.

How can your workplace help?
