Our customers of the week go to Celia and Ann who spent a solid hour at our shop loading themselves up with many a photo block to take home to their friends. In doing so they helped us raise over $1000 for the kids!
Its amazing how many caring, compassionate folk we meet every week at the Rose Street Artist Market!
Keep visiting and spending people, we need those $'s!!
Finally me and our main video volunteer man (Richy Von Wynn) have found time to put together an OrphFund news wrap. Its coming very soon with the latest on all things across our projects. Stay tuned.... we're excited!
Happy Birthday to this quite marvellous man!! Henry is co co-ordinator of all our Ugandan projects. We've been really blessed to find such an amazing human to help us with our work. Your kindness, big heart, thought, calmness and emotion is beyond valuable to us. Welcome to the 40's big man!
Amazing work from a small but mighty team of volunteers at our Kenya Heartspring Children's Village!
Safe flight home ladies - time for a well-deserved glass of bubbles!
Right now we are fortunate enough to have 3 OrphFund volunteers spending their days at our Heartspring Children's Village in western Kenya.
Alison, Christina and Sheila have been non stop action since arriving, working on a number of items to help improve facilities there.
So far painting, bed repairs and getting rid of bed bugs have been ticked off their list.
Great work ladies!!!
Dearest Quniter. Our hearts hang so heavy today as we say goodbye. Thoughts and sympathies go out to all of your friends and new family you made at our Heartspring Childrens Village. You were so loved by all. So many tears have fallen.
Quinter passed suddenly in Homa Bay hospital from complications with Sickle Cell Anemia. She was just 16.
