Tombo Children’s Village

Our Tombo project sits nestled amongst lush hills with the nearby fishing hub just a short stroll away. Our children have been here since 2010 after our homes in Hamilton were sadly forced to close due to illegal sand mining, resulting in our project literally falling into the sea.

45 orphans and street children live across 4 separate homes, with a rotunda, kitchen, water pump, compost toilets, bucket showers and a shipping container completing the set up of our Children's Village here. After breakfast our children head off to neighbouring government schools for their education and return home for dinner, homework and some additional study with our care workers.

Having faced incredible hardships living on the streets, Tombo is a place filled with love and care, giving the kids somewhere to finally call home.       Back →
